David Mueller is a human interest journalist in the dangerous world of the future.  His newest job takes him back to Isla Blanca, an artificial island where he vacationed as a boy and fell in love of the first time, to report on the island's sinking.  When he encounters the now grown object of his youthful affections still on Isla Blanca, he's torn between his job and need to drive traffic to his employer, and his chance to recapture something he'd thought long lost.  Before the island is destroyed with a grand celebratory frenzy, David will make the most important choice of his life.

Disbelief  is the story of a young woman with a rare talent: the power of her disbelief can dispel the supernatural, turning psychics into cold-reading frauds, vampires into hemophiliacs, and werewolves into poster children of the Hair Club for Men.  She has even built a professional debunking business out of her unusual talent, with an equally unusual clientele.  Then comes the day when she starts to be haunted by a ghost she can't seem to disbelieve away...
